I placed a on line order to Charley's the morning of our Christmas luncheon. It was a very large order. There were some things mis lableled and things that we hadn't gotten. So I got on the phone to the person in charge of on-line orders "Lisa" and with in 15 minutes she had all of the items that we had not gotten and another corrected entre ready and waiting for us. She had even offered to have the items delivered but I had already sent our runner back to the restaurant to correct the order. Usually I'd rate the service as mediocre, but Lisa was pleasent and very professional, and she worked hard to make it right, and earned the 5 stars. Thank you very much for making our Christmas luncheon pleasant and enjoyable.

Prime rib is perfect! Best spinach salad with bacon dressing I have had in a long time. Everything on the menu has been good. Wait staff is prompt and friendly. Parking lot may look full but it's not. Have not had to wait yet. One of, if not the favorite spot here in Lynchburg.

We were traveling to visit Poplar Forest and spotted Charley's. What luck! This place is a gem.
There is a large area for outdoor dining, a menu with an amazing selection, mostly good service, and great food. For lunch we had the catfish sandwich (excellent, on a perfectly toasted bun) and the chicken salad platter, served with fruit, a roll, a crispy she'll and sherbet.
Hannah was a friendly server and was very helpful. One tiny quibble: she was a little late with a drink refill on a sunny day. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we'd come back in a heartbeat.
